My Place Conveyancing FAQs
MyPlace Conveyancing features a secure login for registered MyPlace Brokers. Once you are registered as a MyPlace Broker you will be able to access your own personal MyPlace web page and view the status of all transactions in which you are the acting broker. Provided you can give us your most recent council rates notice and water service account and an owners corporation certificate is not required, we can produce all required documents within 36-48 hours (where instructions are received by 4pm on the first business day).
- Owners corporation certificates (required for most units or where a property shares common property with another); or
- Additional disbursements required for dual occupancy properties (for example, if you sell multiple adjacent units in a single transaction).

MyPlace Conveyancing’s fixed fee includes the following:
- Preparation of the contract and other disclosure documents;
- Review of the contract and other disclosure documents (for buyers);
- Advising you on available stamp duty concessions (for buyers);
- Preparing and arranging execution of all Land Titles Office and State Revenue Office documents;
- Working with your bank to arrange settlement;
- Attending settlement on your behalf; and
- All disbursements incurred in preparing the above documentation and arranging settlement.
When you engage MyPlace Conveyancing by entering the initial details of your purchase or sale on the MyPlace website, you will be asked to pay your deposit (we use the National Australia Bank’s secure payment gateway to protect your privacy and security). The MyPlace Conveyancing total fixed fee is inc.GST. The balance is charged to you as part of your property settlement.
With our fixed fee conveyancing you are charged a fixed professional fee.
This fee includes GST and an allowance for the costs of standard searches only, it specifically excludes owner’s corporation certificates and we may make a charge for other additional certificates where it may be necessary. We do not charge for copying, faxes or phone calls.
Once you have completed registration your personal login and page is created. We will provide you with a unique login which ensures that your privacy is protected. You will receive a welcome email which will include details of the My Place conveyancer who will assist you throughout your property sale.
We will commence preparation of your contract and other disclosure documents, as may be required, together with ordering the necessary certificates from statutory authorities. You will be able to follow the progress of your transaction through your unique login and associated page.
Once you have completed the details and made your payment, your personal MyPlace web page is immediately created. We will provide you with a unique login which ensures that your privacy is protected. You will receive a welcome email which includes the contact details of the MyPlace conveyancer who will assist you throughout your property purchase.
